Show and Tell time ladies!!

Now another month has rolled around and we haven't seen much show and tell from you guys and I know you have all have something to show as I see you each Tuesday busily crafting away.  So if you have a completed project come on over and tell us all about it as we love to hear and see what you have been up to.  If you a little shy, hey I’ll go first.....

Here is a photo of quilt I made for my mother-in-law.  Now this quilt was made using a layer cake called “Summer Breeze” with all its beautiful greens, yellows, blues and white.  Makes you feel like you are in a green field with beautiful yellow flowers flowing in the gentle breeze on a lovely clear blue summer’s day.  The patternI used to create this quilt was from a YouTube tutorial by Missouri Star Quilt Company called Double Slice Layer Cake.

Until next time...
With every craft, there is laughter!!

Anyone up for a laugh?

Now I’m not the one to surf the net, even though you get some great ideas for lots of different crafting projects, but I was reading one of my regular blogs, Pat Sloan and came across this interesting YouTube video that her brother had sent her.  Well I laughed so hard I almost cried so now I’m passing it onto you – The Tale of Two Brains – enjoy!

Until next time...
HAPPY CRAFTING AND ALWAYS HAVE A LAUGH!!

Tracey's Bunny Family

The lovely Tracey (our newest UFOer) has been stitching adorable bunny rabbits to give to the
Mater Hospital Paedaetric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).

These bunnies will bring much joy (and some smiles) to the families of the kids in the PICU.
The bunny family ( the have grown since since this photo was taken)

Becc has been busy

Our beautiful Becc has been busy in the one short month since she left Roma.
After settling into her mil's house she has launched into more sewing (mostly for her business) Cha Cha Rose Handmade.

When she sews we are there too, hanging on the wall above her head.

Greetings from Blackbutt

Hi UFOers this is Debra sharing Colleen & Grant's creations.  They claim to 'not get this blog stuff' so I asked if I could steal borrow their photos from face book as they have been quite busy.

Grant's Cot quilt for Aster using disappearing 4 patch and charm squares Sukrura park by Moda
Combined effort Grant & Colleen, Joanne's Xmas Quilt using Batik collection
Grant's disappearing 4 patch using fellowship layer cakes by Moda

Barnaby the Owl backpack for Vala by Colleen
Colleen's Stack n whack with fabric bought in NZ holiday 2011

So, we may not have heard from them for a little while, but at least they have been busy.  It would appear that Grant is becoming quite a whizz on the quilting machine.
