A few UFOs bite the dust...

Short and sweet and a whole heap of photos.

First cab off the rank.
Leanne finished her "re cut diamonds" started in a workshop here in Roma in 2011
Faye finished binding her "Cake Mix" Quilt started in 2011 (I think)  it is just stunning.
Liz finished the cushion to match "Fletcher's Quilt"

Debra turned a Jelly Roll Race( from 2 years ago) into an Aussie Hero Quilt and it has been sent to a chaplain in Afghanistan.
Tracey finished another whole burrow full of Rabbits.
Debra made more progress on the 'care quilt' that is now becoming a 'Aussie Hero Quilt"
and a few of us joined other members of Roma Patchwork to make new UFOs (joking).
We participated in an "All the Wave" workshop with Julie Latcham (front right) of Cow Paddocks Patchwork .

Cecily (Back left), Melanie (Back 2nd from right), Leanne (back right) and Debra (front left) made sure UFO craft were very well represented.

Well it is craft again tonight, so who knows what we will achieve.
Catch you later.

Australia Day Pyjama Sew-in

We Came

We sewed.
We met a new friend "Frenchy" however she did not want to craft and is a little rigid in her approach to life.

We ate (No photos)
 and we achieved something

Leanne's 'baby' quilt top
Leanne's Quilted table topper (Yes that is a workshop project from 2 years ago.) It would have been bound, but the red fabric did not come to craft with Leanne
Gayle's "million triangles" for Rachel's Quilt

Liz made 3/4 of a carry bag for her new bike (yes once again the last element was left at home) and started the layout for a cushion to match "Fletcher's" Quilt made a few weeks ago.
Debra
Completed lining Laundry Bags for Aussie Hero Quilts and Laundry Bags and bound a quilt for them also

And Debra started on the piecing for her latest quilt.

We laughed, we crafted, we laughed some more and we enjoyed time together.

However, we did forget our pyjamas - oops.

Maybe next time.

Look what was on the table

Last night saw Cecily and Olivia being busy, busy, busy and Debra binding, binding, binding.

Cecily's 2011 flood quilt is now pinned ready for quilting.
Olivia's "Serendipity" quilt layout was chosen  Olivia said that this is a 2 for 1 quilt.
(She only had one of the two there last night.)
Debra was binding an Aussie Hero Quilt but we didn't get a photograph.

Now as for Colleen (our absentee UFO Crafter) after catching up with us at the markets last weekend, she went home and whipped up this quilt top on Sunday.  Colleen decided this will be an Aussie Hero Quilt too.  It is great and I think the soldier will be happy to sleep "Under the Southern Cross"

Thanks for stopping by.
